Roasted Brussels Sprouts
Score one for persistence. Maybe score two or three. Because last night the Brussels sprouts didn’t get left behind or ground up in the garbage disposal. That’s right. Joe ate them (actually he was picking away at them before they were even served), and Annie ate them, and, drum roll please… Louisa ate them. She even said they were pretty good. Did I hear that right? Did she say that? Yes she did. After years of persistently serving sliced Brussels sprouts that have been roasted in olive oil and salted, and having them rejected by her with a blech, yuk, rush to the sink to wash them down the drain, she ate them.
A moment of silence please.
Win!

Got something to say?

Persistence perseveres. Can red beet salad be far behind?
Not unless there’s a different person persisting than me.
