Photo of the Week – January 5, 2011 – Tomatoes
If you’ve never sauteed cherry or grape tomatoes, give it a try because they transform into a delicious, sweet treat. Butter, olive oil or both work well. Add a pinch of salt and even Annie can manage to choke them down. The asparagus spears were added for Christmas color.

Why not sautee in olive oil and butter? Just be sure to put the butter in after the oil.

Let me know how you like them. By the way, sometimes if I have fresh herbs on hand I’ll add a little thyme or basil, but that’s really gilding the lily.
