Did Louisa point that quote out to you? I also recently saw zucchini relish.
No she didn’t, but if she had seen it, she would have cheered.
Zucchini are edible and even tasty if picked when small. The problem is if you turn your back on them for even a moment, there is no stopping the nasty things and they turn into clubs.
There is a running joke in New England that people are warned not to leave their cars unlocked or they may find their backseat filled with zucchini…
