The Gift that Keeps on Giving

Joe and I were called down to a surprise breakfast last weekend. It wasn’t Mother’s Day or Father’s Day. It was simply the kid’s cookbook, that Louisa received at Christmas, that inspired the girls to make us french toast for breakfast. Now if only I could think of a similarly inspirational book for kids about cleaning the house.

    You were called down for breakfast. Maybe soon you’ll be treated to breakfast in bed and can a hearty dinner be far behind. Then when there are no more breakfasts and dinners to be cooked for you ,maybe someone will clean the house. You could hold you breath but I would just enjoy the food.
