Have a Cup of Hot Tea

Tea Time… and celebrate Hot Tea Month. With all of the cold weather that has kept us shivering lately, this month couldn’t arrive at a better time. And not only is hot tea good for warming the body, it’s also a healthful drink, perfect for this month when many of us recommit to taking care of our bodies. Tea has been praised for its antioxidant benefits; its positive effects on bone density; its heart health benefits; and its beneficial weight effects. You can choose from black, green, white, red, or herbal varieties with different benefits attributed to each one. No matter which one you choose, or how many cups you enjoy each day, you can’t go wrong. Cheers!

I’ve always been a proponent of Green Tea and drink as much of it as I can. Even though the purist may shudder I’ve actually figured out how to make Green Tea in my coffee maker. I think I make more Green Tea than coffee.

Interesting. Do you have a favorite brand of leaves? And I don’t shudder that you make it that way. I actually have a drip tea maker that I reviewed on my About.com site: http://entertaining.about.com/od/coffeesandteas1/gr/trinitea.htm
The only thing I question about your method is whether your tea is muddled with coffee flavor from your machine.

The tea does not get muddied with coffe flavor as I really only brew coffee on special occasions. I must confess that I buy my daily cup(s) of coffee.

Got something to say?
