Malted Mousse

We went for dinner last Saturday night and this Malted mousse was my dessert. It tasted good, but my eyes enjoyed it even more.

    Pesentation is everything. Enjoying a good meal is really a five sense experience. There is the aroma first, perhaps the sound of the sizzle, then it is our first glimpse of the food. Look at how much we have already enjoyed even before we feel the weight of the food on our fork. Finally it is the flavor that dances across our taste buds.

    I know – professional chefs have really nailed that down. That’s why I’m looking forward to the finale of Top Chef tonight to see what fabulous meals they devise.
