Bountiful Statue – Photo of the Week 8/26/09
Offering Healthy Bounty
There’s a large fountain in front of the main building at the Italian resort we visited over the weekend. Surrounding the fountain is a collection of Roman-looking statues. Notice, the ideal female is neither too skinny nor too fat – she’s just full and bountiful and offering bountiful, healthy food. I suppose that’s intended to convey a message about the resort. No, not that you’ll be eating healthfully there (nobody walks out skinnier than they arrive after all the food they serve you) but that you’ll be rained on during your stay. We were.
